Courier Guide – High Flyers UK Couriers

How It Works

   You buy your animal from us

   Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, we arrange everything.

2. 2

   We prepare and book the courier

   We carefully prepare your animal for travel and book High Flyers on your behalf. We pay the courier directly so you don’t need to arrange or pay anything extra at delivery.

3. 3

   Collection & Delivery

   This service runs every week across mainland UK.

4. 4

   You receive your animal

   High Flyers will contact you the day before delivery with a two-hour time slot. Please make sure someone is available to take delivery.

Important Welfare Notes

• Courier staff do not handle reptiles . Your animal remains in its secure travel container throughout the journey.

• On longer (two-day) journeys, High Flyers can supply a fresh heat pack to help maintain a suitable temperature.

Pricing (Tortoises & Reptiles)

A small fuel surcharge may apply on lower-priced routes. We will confirm the exact cost for your postcode when we book the courier.

Coverage

• Mainland England, Wales and most of Scotland.
• Aberdeen and Inverness are served less frequently (every 4–5 weeks) and carry higher charges.
• Some remote Scottish postcodes may require meeting the driver at a more central location — we will let you know if this applies.
• This service is not available to Northern Ireland, islands, or outside mainland UK.
